The 7780 HQS Battalion held a review and decoration ceremony for the purpose of the awarding belated bronze starts to four men who had earned them during WWII. Each man was presented his decoration by Brig.Gen. Marice W. Daniel, commanding officier Berlin Military Post after which the foursome was honored by reviewing the troops.
M/Sgt Herman A. Runawitsch, 7852 QM SV Co, from Baldwin, N.Y. has over 14 years of Army Service. Shortly after the presentation Ceremony het was sworn in as a warrant officer junior grade in the army of the United States.
Sgt. Lester A. Hashey, 7781 SCV, from Portland Maine has over eight years of Army Service
Sgt. Lawrence A Cunningham 7852 QM SV Co. from Newark, N.J. has been in the Army for over seven years.
Cpl. Arthur E. Vorce, 7852 QM Sv Co. from Orange, Mass. has over four years of Army Service.
